William Byrnes Live Telecast on Media Channels To 800 million Viewers

A law professor and associate dean at the Texas A&M University School of Law, William Byrnes has coauthored numerous books, including the Lexis Guide to FATCA Compliance (2012). William Byrnes is a frequent speaker at major global conferences.

On April 22, 2017 Prof. William Byrnes was a featured speaker in India among a distinguished global list of speakers for an event telecasted live on multiple media channels to over 800 million TV viewers. The theme of the event was Education 4.0, The Future of Education in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Prof. William Byrnes had previously received India’s National Board of Accreditation’s 2012 academic achievement award for pioneering distance learning. The Press and moderators included television personalities from the likes of CNN-IBN, CNBC, Sky News, HARDtalk-BBC and ITV News.

On May 19th Professor William Byrnes was a featured speaker of the 16th Annual Security Conference. Featured speakers of the 16th Annual conference include national security government experts such as Noël Richards, National Security Agency (NSA), Preston Ackerman, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Pamela Sydelco, Global Security Sciences Division, Argonne National Laboratory. William Byrne spoke on “Incentivizing Good Tax Administrations among the World of Black Hat and Grey Hat Governments: A Carrot & Stick Policy Proposal”.

Professor William Byrnes will present at the 35th annual Cambridge Economic Crimes Symposium on Friday September 8th on the topic of the uses by governments of disclosures of wealth by residents. His publisher, Lexis stated that “Another area where Professor Byrnes is making a name for himself as a top authority is the federal tax law known as “FATCA”. Since Prof. William Byrnes wrote the first edition of Lexis Guide to FATCA & CRS Compliance in Spring of 2012, the industry leading 2,000 page analysis of the FATCA and CRS compliance challenges has expanded to 80 chapters.
